Little story: each year Monumenta invites an internationally renowned contemporary artist to appropriate the 13,500 m² of the Grand Palais Nave with an artwork specially created for the event. Two years ago it was Boltansky. He has filled the Grand Palais with a mountain of 50 tons of clothes and the sound of 15,000 heartbeats! Monumental! You can discover his first solo show in Brasil at Casa França-Brasil (Rio de Janeiro) until 8^th of July. “Chance” presents 3 hudge installations "La Roue de La chance" (The wheel of fortune), " Dernières nouvelles des humains" (News of the human) et "Être à nouveau" (To be again) about identity and memory works.
