The Diary of Paris Fashion Week : DAY THREE

Here we go again, for the third day of Paris Fashion Week ! This time, I picked up four shows : Balanciaga of course, Balmain because Olivier Rousteing always takes me to heaven, Carven due to my devotion for their coats and Nina Ricci for the french touch !! Let’s start with Balanciaga. This season, the lovely man, usually known under the name of Nicolas Ghesquière, made a nostalgic step back into the eighties. Sweaters with «challenging proportions» and oversized coats were at the rendez-vous. This time, the luxurious Crillon Hotel made room to a parisian factory. A change explained by the fact that model’s are supposed to be viewed as employees. I add on my wish list all of the fabulous Star Wars sweaters. A must-have is born for a perfect day at the office!

New Fashion Commandment : Die in Balmain ! God Bless Olivier Rousteing for giving us a fantastic collection. Black velvet pants with pearls and stretchy crystalized dresses illuminated my day. As you can notice, Mister Rousteing revisited the balmain jacket, it is more linear and oversize.
At Carven, Guillaume Henry continues to send us towards a world of youth, fun and coquetry.
I heart Vilma Putriute’s outfit : a mustard short, the carven’s classical one, with a fur collar jacket.

Nina Ricci’s woman seems to be like a young lolita who picked up a last minute dress and appears more trendy then ever. So frenchy !
