The Diary of Paris Fashion Week : DAY EIGHT

Paul & Joe has always been the house of well-fitting and well-made and for this season it is more true than ever! The walls of the room were covered by photographs of autumnal woods, it was magic and warm. Sophie Albou designed a simple wardrobe, elegant & essential. We loved the velvet jacket in mustard, lace black shirts and fur coats. It’s always a pleasure to watch the fashion show of one of our brands and to see the clothes living on the models. It is only confirming our love for Paul & Joe, and we are proud to sell it on My French Dressing.
«Nature is the greatest designer» dixit Mister Karl Lagarfeld. In fact, this season the famous designer took us for a Journey to the Interior of the Earth. He tries to inject the esthetic power of crystals in every outfits. Karl introduced new proportions with a three-piece suit—jacket, skirt, and pants. We can feel a casualwear energy in some outfits. The designer tested out new things and it worked !

Castelbajac’s new collection is fancy, kind of enchanted and colored. JCDC proposed yellow neoprene with eagles wings prints which bring a tribal dimension. There were also, cartoon eagle head on shoulder’s dresses and erupting volcano. He achieved his goal once again, the Castelbajac’s magic was definitly there.

At Alexander Mc Queen, according to Sarah Burton, the show celebrated the future and it will be bright and fool of optimism. Dresses were floating in the air like bubbles, ostrich fur was declined in black, grey, red and pink. It was a true celebration of hope.
