Ephemeral Museum

 Francesco Vezzoli
Miuccia Prada
Francesco Vezzoli and Prada opened a museum in Paris for just 24 hours the 24th January 2012...In the Palais d’Iéna, usually closed to the public, eccentric (genius?) Italian artist Francesco Vezzoli did a collaboration with Prada and Remi Koolhaas to create a hyped-up event, an ephemeral museum that will only be open for 24 hours, in a city where many of the museums have been in place for hundreds of years…The Palais d’Iéna, a beautiful 30s monument, built  by venerable architect Auguste Perret, has probably never seen something like this before! For 24 hours the place was turned into something resembling to « a brothel in Las Vegas« . Very intriguing!
