The exhibition was a dive into the past : arriving into the room and following the exhibition route divided into colours and themes, you can breathe the art of sewing, the man's creativity and the real haute couture.
There are coats, hats, space jackets (my favourite!), cocktail and evening dresses, men suits and jewelry. Everything is so 60's and so high fashion that I wanted to take everything home!
There are squares, circles and all the geometric forms that Pierre loves and used his entire life and that make him so famous and so recognizable.
Personally I didn't know Pierre Cardin so well but reading the history of his life and all the goals he accomplished, I can tell he is not just a great fashion designer but also a great business man that saw the opportunity in the Chinese and Brazilian market before everybody else. And he was right!
Now, at the age of 88, he announce he want to sell the company, as he doesn't have heirs, for 1 billion keeping his job as main designer!Parabens Pierre! You Rock!
